ABOUT MASCOTS

Mascots is a coming of age story about Ben, a college student, who is part Native American and desperately wants to be seen and accepted as Native. In order to prove himself and show the world he's Native, he gets dressed in his new regalia and sets out with a couple college friends to protest the use of Native Americans as mascots at a local college. In his struggle to get to the protest he comes to understand it's not about what others think you are, but what you come to know about yourself.
