MOTHER’S MILK

Written by Larry Powell

In response to the hurricane of heartbreaking headlines gripping the country, writer, actor, and artist Larry Powell wrote the play Mother’s Milk, the journey of Sparrow as he quantum leaps through a dying universe to find his mother and true home.

Larry shared the piece with his community of artists, directors, actors, technicians, and revolutionaries. Together, they assembled individual teams to bring the theatrical chapters to life on screen in a visually striking “film quilt.”

In Mother’s Milk the faces shift, the visual language evolves and the storytelling styles transform.
